The project consists in a platform for the travellers to book taxi in Cuba online, either a private taxi, i.e. a whole taxi for themselves, or a taxi shared between many passengers.
This model will be to replayed in other countries.
Clients have the option either to accept a taxi driver offer, or ask all the taxi drivers to make an offer.
When they book a ride, travellers take the commitment to pay the fare cash to the taxi driver, the relevant amount of the fare is temporarily blocked on their credit card, and unblocked four hours after the ride ends, after paying the outstanding charge.
The commission for this service is 10 per cent on the fare.
Clients have the right to cancel the booking any time at least 24 hours before the ride begins without any penalties, only the 10% commission to the platform is charged.
