1. Service Description

TransporteCuba is an online platform that connects drivers with travellers seeking taxi services in Cuba. Drivers may offer private or shared rides and will be notified when travellers request quotes. The platform may expand to other countries in the future.

2. Driver Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and honest information when creating a driver profile.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and roadworthy.
  • Arrive punctually at pickup locations and complete trips as agreed with the client.
  • Treat passengers respectfully and courteously at all times.
3. Booking Process
  • Drivers may respond to trip requests with fare offers.
  • When a client accepts a fare, the booking is confirmed and the driver must complete the ride.
  • Clients will pay the fare in cash at the end of the ride.
  • The fare amount is temporarily blocked on the client’s credit card and released 4 hours after ride completion.
4. Commission and Payment
  • TransporteCuba charges a 10% commission on all confirmed rides.
  • This commission is deducted from the total fare agreed with the client.
  • Drivers receive payment directly from the client in cash; the platform does not transfer funds.
5. Cancellations
  • Drivers must notify TransporteCuba and the client immediately if they are unable to fulfill a confirmed booking.
  • Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in account suspension or termination.
  • If a client cancels more than 24 hours before the ride, the fare is not owed, but the platform retains the commission.
6. Conduct and Compliance
  • Drivers must comply with all local traffic and transportation laws.
  • No illegal, unsafe, or discriminatory behavior will be tolerated.
  • TransporteCuba reserves the right to suspend or ban drivers for misconduct or poor ratings.
7. Insurance and Liability
  • Drivers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is properly insured.
  • TransporteCuba is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or legal issues arising during the ride.
  • Drivers must carry all legally required documents and licenses.
8. Data and Privacy

Driver data is stored and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not store or handle your financial data.

9. Changes to Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. Changes will be posted on the platform and will take effect immediately.

1. Service Description

TransporteCuba is an online platform that allows travellers to book taxi services in Cuba, either as a private taxi (exclusive use) or a shared taxi (shared with other passengers). This model may be expanded to other countries in the future.

2. Booking and Payment
  • Clients may:
  • Accept an offer from a specific driver, or
  • Request offers from multiple drivers and select one.
  • Upon booking, the full fare is temporarily blocked on the client’s credit card as a guarantee of payment.
  • The fare is paid in cash directly to the driver at the time of the ride.
  • The credit card block is released 4 hours after the ride ends, provided the client has paid in cash.
3. Commission and Fees
  • A 10% commission on the total fare is charged by TransporteCuba at the time of booking.
  • This commission is non-refundable once the ride is confirmed, even in case of cancellation (see below).
4. Cancellations
  • Clients may cancel the ride up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
  • In case of timely cancellation, only the 10% commission is charged; the remainder of the fare is unblocked.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the ride may result in the full fare being charged.
5. Driver Responsibilities
  • Drivers must arrive on time and provide a safe, clean, and legal transport service.
  • Any disputes or issues related to the ride should be reported to TransporteCuba immediately.
6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
  • Impersonate another person or provide false information.
  • Attempt to interfere with the platform’s operation or security.
7. Liability
  • TransporteCuba acts only as an intermediary between clients and drivers.
  • We are not liable for any accidents, delays, or issues arising from the transportation service itself.
  • However, we may investigate and take action against drivers or users who breach our standards.
8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the website with an updated date.
